Breve explicação
O license-in consiste na aquisição de direitos de uso de tecnologias, patentes, metodologias ou know-how desenvolvidos por terceiros para que sejam explorados como ativos de inovação pela organização. Essa prática permite acessar soluções prontas ou em estágio avançado de maturidade, acelerando o desenvolvimento de novos produtos, processos ou serviços sem a necessidade de desenvolver internamente toda a tecnologia.
Essa abordagem é especialmente útil quando há uma lacuna tecnológica ou uma janela de tempo estratégica a ser aproveitada, e pode representar uma forma eficaz de complementar competências internas, reduzir riscos de P&D e manter a empresa competitiva frente às rápidas mudanças do mercado.
