Breve explicação
O co-fomento ou co-financiamento refere-se à realização de investimentos em esforços de inovação em parceria com atores do ecossistema de fomento, como fundações de amparo à pesquisa (FAPs), EMBRAPII, agências de inovação e outros programas públicos ou privados.
Nessa prática, a organização compartilha o investimento necessário para o desenvolvimento de projetos inovadores, reduzindo o custo próprio e diluindo riscos, ao mesmo tempo em que potencializa a capacidade de acesso a tecnologias emergentes e expertise externa. O co-fomento geralmente se dá por meio de chamadas públicas específicas para projetos de P&D, desenvolvimento tecnológico ou inovação aberta, exigindo gestão técnica e compliance rigoroso com as regras dos programas.
